I'm a 29 year old Music Therapist living in New Jersey. I'm originally from Connecticut, but have been living here for the past 6 years.
I've been struggling with my weight my whole life. I can honestly say I've never been thin or skinny. It began to get out of control in middle school up through high school and when I left college in 2001 I was at my highest weight, 301.8.
I joined Weight Watchers and over the course of a few years I lost 75lbs. Over the past 2 years I've gained back 25lbs for several reasons. But that's it, that's all that's coming back on because I refuse to see any higher number on the scale. I want this so bad. I turn 30 next year and in addition to completing my Master's Degree before my 30th birthday I also want to be significantly healthier and closer to my goal weight.
I'm focused and I'm determined. I've always had the tools I need to lose, but now I have the motivation. I'm not sure what makes this time different than the other times I've said the same thing, but it feels different.
So here I go!!
